The Vishu 10 edition of Anjali was mailed during April-May of 2009 and must have
reached you if your address was with KHNA. We invite you to see the edition in
full color by clicking on the picture icon above (To save printing costs, not
all pages of the print edition are in color). We have started working on the
2010 Vishu edition for which we are currently inviting articles, poems,
information on community events, well-wisher sponsorship and advertisements -

Why do we take the trouble of editing and publishing a magazine, you may ask?
Well, effective written communication is essential to bring the Malayali Hindus
of
Anjali Magazine's Kumaran Asan literary competition
- for children and youth !
The contest started in conjunction with the Samgamam-08 Youth festival and ended in early 2009. The results were announced at the Los Angeles Convention (July 10-13) and selected works were published in the convention souvenir! We will continue reviewing those left over articles and poems that failed to find a place in the convention souvenir due to space limitations with a view to publishing them in the future issues if found suitable.
