WHERE AND WHEN IS THE UPCOMING CONVENTION? The convention will be held in Ontario, CA, 40 miles from Los Angeles, July 10-13, 2009. The programs start by Friday July 10th evening 3 pm and finish with a breakfast on Monday the 13th. The organizing committee expects this historical event on the west coast of United States to be unforgettable, and cordially invites you to attend this event with your family and loved ones. TO WHICH AIRPORT DO I FLY? WHAT ABOUT LOCAL TRAVEL? The hotel is very close to the ONTARIO AIRPORT (ONT), but there are frequent van shuttle services to ONT from the FOUR other large airports in the Los Angeles area - LAX International, Santa Ana (SNA), Long Beach (LGB) and Burbank(BUR), all of them within an hour of drive from Ontario. As there are 4 other airports, any dedicated pickup services contracted by KHNA would cause a serious waste of money and will not be as frequent and convenient as the existing shuttles. This is why KHNA decided to cut the registration fee rather than offer inconvenient transportation from other airports. There will be continuously running shuttle pickups from the ONT airport to the hotel.
You may find a cheap air fare to another airport though - LAX has many direct flights. Long Beach has great JetBlue fares from many cities; (direct flights from DC area for under $250 RT!). SNA and BUR also show many cheap flights and many direct flights. Here are the approximate ONE-WAY shuttle fares.

That is, if you find a flight cheaper by about $50-75 to any other airport, you may be better off flying there and then taking a shuttle to Ontario.
An even cheaper option that we recommend is for you to rent a car and drive to Ontario, as car rentals in the Los Angeles area are among the cheapest in the country.
