Hindus of North America, Dec 31, 2007

|
Dear Friends! Happy New Year!
You are receiving this email because we know of you through your past
participation in KHNA (Kerala Hindus of North America), the only
organization that
represents and networks all Hindu Malayalees in North America, or
because one of
your friends requested that you are kept informed (or we simply found
you
through Google!). It is my privilege, on behalf of KHNA, to wish
you a happy and prosperous 2008 and send you this new edition of the e-Anjali, an
email
newsletter that we are restarting after a short break. Also
attached is a small greeting card from the President, Dr. Ramadas
Pillai.
KHNA to Los
Angeles:
As you may be aware, the headquarters of KHNA for the next two years
will
be Los Angeles, CA, where the 2009 convention will be held. KHNA
has
many important ongoing efforts like the Kerala scholarship project
and we have planned several
interesting upcoming programs,
about which we will inform you in subsequent e-Anjali newsletters
arriving by
email every few weeks. Meanwhile, may I
request you to visit the KHNA website, www.namaha.org
to find news and information of interest to the Malayali Hindu
community of
the continent?
Magazine Contributions Urgently
Needed: We are looking for articles, announcements, photographs
and other material for the Anjali
quarterly
print magazine of
KHNA that reaches over 2000 friends around the continent and
overseas. The
next edition is scheduled before Vishu. Please browse the beautiful past issues and
email the Anjali
editor
Dr. Ravi Raghavan with any submissions or questions! Thank you!
Prof.
R. Jayakrishnan, Irvine, CA (Member Relations Committee, KHNA)
e-Anjali editor: Prof. R. Jayakrishnan ( jaykay@translab.its.uci.edu
