Duryodhana Vadham Kathakali tells the story of the two most important events in Mahabharatathe banishment of Pandavas after their defeat in the game of dice by Kauravas, and their triumphant victory over Kauravas many years later in the vast battlefields of Kurukshetra. The emotions and the magical mysteries that unfold in between can only be experienced when portrayed by the great Masters of Kathakali from Kalamandalam, Margi and Sadanam, the leading institutions of Kathakalis own birth placeKerala, India.

H. H. Swami Sathyananda Saraswathy Thiruvadikal

Swamiji is the Madathipathy of Sree Rama Dasa mission (www.srdm.org) at Thiruvananthapuram.

Swamiji has played a very important role in the current Hindu awareness across the world. He was instrumental in inspiring Kerala Hindus in United States to have a common forum for us to unite together thus resulting in the Hindu Convention. On that ground Swamiji presided over the previous two conventions held at Dallas and Houston respectively.
