KHNA Unity Meeting in New York, Jan 2010

Washington DC, Jan 20, 2010: KHNA is pleased to report on a very hertening meeting held at New York to bring all the Malayali Hindus of the great city together under KHNA's banner, on January 17, 2010. New York was the host of the KHNA Biennial convention in 2007 and so it is no surprise that the whole community comes together under the KHNA banner. The newly elected KHNA officials from the current headquarters, Washington DC, travelled to New York to meet the leaders of several Malayali Hindu organizations inn New York in a meeting that was attended by nearly 200 people. A highlight of the meeting was a Live TV video message from Swami Sandeep Chaithanya encouraging the KHNA and New York malayalees efforts at bringing about such unity in the community. Swamiji was on a visit to Abu Dhabi from where he delivered the message. The meeting included an enthralling cultural program with dance and music performances.
