June 11, 2010: Satsang by Swami Bhoomananda Tirtha at Virginia

Swami Bhoomananda Tirtha of Narayanashrama Tapovanam and Centre for Inner Resources Development (Trichur, Kerala) was visiting Northern Virginia in early June, 2010. On behalf of KHNA, Sri Suku Nair organized a satsang on the evening of June 11, 2010 at the Vienna Community Center. The hall was overflowing with devotees as Swami Ji arrived for the satsang. Ma Gurupriya and Swami Nirviseshananda Tirtha, both disciples of Poojya Swamiji, accompanied Swami Ji to the satsang. Most devotees were familiar with Swami Ji from the morning TV program based on Sreemad Bhagavatham. The recurring themes of his talk included the message that we must recognize the entire world to be a wholesome manifestation of God and whether we seek material peace or religious salvation, we should look inward because the source lies within us. The satsang was followed by question and answer session and a delicious dinner sponsored by Sri Suku Nair.
