Children's competitions at the 2011 KHNA Convention

Washington, D.C., June 28, 2011: The capitol city is all ready to host the 6th biennial convention of KHNA starting on July 1st and there is noticeable enthusiasm from the continental Malayali Hindu community about participation, as well-refelected by the entries received for the children's cmpetitions. One of the heartening developments in recent years at the KHNA conventions has been the spirited participation from families all around USA, Canada and Mexico in competitions conducted for children and youth. The number of entries showed a significant increase from the New York convention in 2007 to the Los Angeles convention in 2009, and the trend is only continuing with the upcoming convention in Washington, DC.
