Washington, D.C., July 13, 2011: KHNA conducted the biennial elections in the General Body Meeting at the Washington DC
convention on July 4th. As required in the bylaws, the next convention goes to the city/region selected from those sending
nominations for the three key positions - the President, Secretary and Treasurer. As Fort Lauderdale was the only city to do
so, South Florida was selected unanimously as the location for the next convention, with President Sri. Anandan Niravel, Secretary
Sri. Suresh Nair and Treasurer Sri. Vinod Kumar Nair being elected, all hailing from Fort Lauderdale, FL. Former trustee chairman
Sri. TN Nair (Dallas, TX) was elected as the Vice President, Sri. Sreekumar Unnithan (New York, NY) as the Joint Secretary and
Sri. Vinod Kearke (New York, NY) as the Joint Treasurer.

Radha Krishnan (Detroit,MI), Raju Nanoo (New York,NY), Dr. Ravi Raghavan (Los Angeles,CA), Sasi Menon (Washington,DC),
Sasidharan Nair (Houston,TX), Satheesan Nair (Chicago,IL), Shanmughan Valllulissery (Houston,TX),
Shyamala Nair (Dallas-Ft.Worth,TX) and Viswanathan Pillai (Philadelphia,PA).
In addition to the 6 office-bearers mentioned above, and the outgoing President Sri. MG Menon as the automatic ex-Officio member,
the new 14 members were elected to the new dirrector board for the next two years. The elected directors are:

Suresh Babu (New York,NY), Vinod Bahuleyan (Los Angeles,CA). Keshava Pillai was elected
satisfying the age-requirements for a youth member as stipulated by KHNA bylaws.
