KHNA Forms High-Level Advisory Council

Los Angeles, CA. July 3, 2008: KHNA is pleased to announce the formation of an advisory council of eminent leaders to help the directors and trustees with independent advice on the organization's activities and to provide direction and leadership in several informal activities on community outreach. The members of this prestigious "President's Advisory Council" are the past presidents and chairmen of KHNA.

Sri. Manmadhan Nair (Dallas, TX), Sri. Sasidharan Nair (Houston, TX), Sri. Anil Kumar Pillai (Chicago, IL), Sri. Venkat Sarma (New York, NY) and Sri. Udayabhanu Panickar (Monroe, GA) are the advisors in this high-level council. The council was selected by the current president Dr. Ramadas Pillai (Murrieta, CA) in consultation with the current Chairman of the KHNA Trustee board, Sri. T. N. Nair (Dallas, TX). "The membership of the council was automatic, as the five advisors' leadership was instrumental in the past growth of KHNA," said Sri. T.N. Nair. "As the director board and trustee board are immersed in several current KHNA activities and the future planning, it is natural for us to forget paying attention to many areas of importance to keep our community's bonds intact and to strengthen our character. An independent council of advisors who have significant experience in the past activities and in conducting successful conventions, is essential to fill any gaps that may develop in our operations. We thank the advisors for their willingness to continue to help us in this regard," said Dr. Ramadas Pillai.
