KHNA 2009 Convention Registration Kickoff Meeting, Chicago, Oct 11, 2008

Los Angeles, Oct 20, 2008: KHNA conducted a registration Kickoff Meeting in Chicago for the upcoming convention at Ontario, Southern California (July 10-13, 2009). The function was very successfully organized by the Geethamandalam of Chicago, the host organization for the 2005 convention at Chicago. Over thirty registrations were handed over by Geethamandalam to Dr. Ramadas Pillai, KHNA president and Prof. R. Jayakrishnan, KHNA Trustee, who travelled from Los Angeles. KHNA thanks the very enthusiastic Chicago community who attended the function and the support and help from several KHNA leaders in Chicago, such as Vice president Satheesan Nair, the regional Vice president Arvind Pillai, former president Anil Kumar Pillai, current seceratary of the trustees Presannan Pillai, trustee V. Gopalakrishnan, directors GK Pillai and Sivan Muhamma, and other Geethamandalam leaders such as Anil Nair and Suresh Balakrishnan. Special gratitude is expressed to Mr. Vasudevan Pillai and Sukumari Pillai for their Saraswathi sponsorship ($2500) for the convention.
