KHNA Get-together in
Seattle, WA. Nov 3, 2007: KHNA Secretary Mr. Vinodh
Bahuleyan and Trustee Prof. R. Jayakrishnan visited
Seattle, WA, for the very first KHNA meeting in that city, on Nov
3rd, 2007. The two hour meeting was hosted by Latha and Gopal Nair, and was
attended by nearly 20 people. The informal discussions included video
presentations of the highlights of the last two conventions, as well as
discussions of KHNA's upcoming 2008 activities and the 2009 convention. A
very enthusiastic question and answer session followed, about KHNA
objectives and goals. The Washington malayali community is very active in
their large organization, Kerala Association of Washington. KAW Treasurer
Mr. Ram Pranam explained to KHNA the activities of the organization. There
is no single hindu malayali organization currently representing the whole
Seattle area, but the community is active in the local
Chinmaya Mission activities and frequently meet for bhajans.
Everybody gave their best wishes and offerred cooperation towards working
with KHNA in the future. KHNA expresses our gratitude for the hospitality
from the Seattle community and it is heartening to see the enthusiasm from
everybody towards all the KHNA activities.
