Kerala Hindus of North America (KHNA) and Organization of Hindu Malayalees (OHM) of Los Angeles are pleased
to invite you and your family for a Sapthaham Yagnam, a spiritual journey
starting from 6:30 AM to 8:30 PM for seven consecutive days from July
7th to July 14, 2008 at Mithila Chinmaya Mission Center, Tustin, CA. We will have Bhagavatham Parayanam
(discourse) with explanation in English for seven days, many additional special
poojas and discourses conducted by eminent
Acharyas from India.
This Sapthaham in Kilippattu is the first of its kind to be conducted in North America. It is
intended to teach and emphasize the spiritual and moral values embedded in Bhagavatham to every devotee
that participates. This Mahapurana Yajnam will be conducted by Yajna Acharya
Sri Mannadi Hari and his team from the National Association of Science and Arts from Thiruvananthapuram.
Sapthaham events are offered frequently in many temples in India, but staging an event of this magnitude in any
country outside India is a challenge, and we are extremely fortunate to have this opportunity in
the US.
In addition, spiritual experts in the KHNA community and sapthaham attendees can take part in discussion forums
conducted during the sapthaham. During the weekend (July 11-13), KHNA will also be conducting the
Samgamam
Family and Youth festival with several activities and competitions that women, youth and children
can take part in.
